Shared Online Poker Liquidity Coming to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal!

The European online poker market will soon see a big change as the four main segregated markets will be allowed to form a shared liquidity market.

The countries affected are France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The four countries currently only allow online poker players play against other players in their own region. However, the new deal will allow the players in the mentioned countries to play freely against others.

According to the pokeridustrypro.com, the anticipated agreement will be signed on July 6th, and the new Euro player pool could go live by the end of the year if all goes as planned:

“This agreement will set the basis for cooperation between the signing authorities and will be followed by further necessary steps within each of the jurisdictions involved in order to effectively allow for liquidity poker tables,”  reads the joint statement from the regulators.

The three biggest operators currenly offering games in the affected juridictions are PokerStars, Winamax and PartyPoker.
