While there appears to be a mass exodus going over at Team PokerStars, the rival site PartyPoker continues to sign new poker players, with this time adding Joni “bustoville” Jouhkimainen to their team.
The 26-year-old Finnish pro has already almost $2,5 million in total live tournament cashes with his best live cash dating back to 2012, when Jouhkimainen finished 3rd in the EPT Barcelona Main Event for over €400,000 payday.
Jouhkimainen also plays some of the biggest online cash games in the world and has been seen playing the big PLO cash games on sites like PokerStars.

All the efforts that partypoker has been making recently to put players first have made me – and many others – really happy. partypoker’s initiatives, both live and online, are really good for the whole poker community. The partypoker LIVE schedule for this year also seems really exciting, so I am very much looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings. I cannot wait to play live events with partypoker,” Jouhkimainen commented his deal with partypoker.
Partypoker is also thrilled about the news – “Joni has had a great career to date with some fantastic results on the live poker circuit. He is one of the very best players in Finland so it’s an honour that he is joining partypoker and we are thrilled to have him on board,” partypoker Head of Nordics Thomas Uddness said.
