The partypoker ambassador team keeps getting bigger with high-stakes pro Isaac Haxton being the latest addition to the team.
Haxton and partypoker announced the news yesterday. Haxton was sponsored by PokerStars for many years, but parted ways with the online poker site in 2016. Unlike Vanessa Selbst and Jason Mercier, Haxton’s departure was a little more dramatic. The online poker legend left PokerStars after hearing about the changes made to Supernova and Supernova Elite programs and has since continued to criticize the company.

According to Haxton, he is truly proud to present partypoker going forward, which he believes will be “the future of poker”, online and live:
I am very excited to be joining the partypoker team. I’ve been very impressed with their growth over the last year or so. From expanding their online cash game and tournament offerings, to improving their software, and most of all rolling out their ambitious and innovative live events program, their commitment to growing the game and providing a great product for their players has been clear.
While Haxton has made a fortune playing the biggest online tournaments and cash games for years now, he has also won more than $15 million on the live poker circuit.
As part of the new deal, Haxton will be playing the forthcoming partypoker live events including the MILLIONS Grand Final in Barcelona.
